A través de la mancha, el gesto y la sensación, busco explorar la mirada subjetiva que otros pueden proyectar sobre mis imágenes. No pretendo construir retratos realistas ni tampoco abstracciones, sino aproximaciones cercanas a una mirada furtiva. Presento las imágenes y espero la respuesta del espectador, dejando espacio para que complete la idea, coincida o difiera de mi percepción. Aspiro a que aquello que ha sido representado pueda desprenderse de su contexto original y adquirir nuevos significados.

Mi trabajo no persigue un objetivo documental, sino emocional. Busca evocar una memoria colectiva y explorar los distintos significados que pueden surgir de un mismo espacio. Cada persona se relaciona con los lugares y paisajes desde su propia experiencia, estableciendo vínculos que no necesariamente responden al propósito para el cual fueron concebidos. Así, un espacio cotidiano puede convertirse en recuerdo, ausencia o evocación. Una misma imagen puede contener múltiples interpretaciones, situándose en el encuentro entre lo representado, la memoria personal y la experiencia de quien observa.

Through stains, gestures, and sensations, I seek to explore the subjective interpretations others bring to my images. I do not aim to create realistic portraits or abstractions, but rather something closer to a fleeting glance. I present the images and await the viewer’s response, leaving room for them to complete the idea, agree or disagree with my perception. I hope that what is depicted can detach itself from its original context and acquire new meanings.

My work is not intended to be documentary, but emotional. It seeks to evoke collective memory and explore the different meanings that can emerge from a single space. Each person relates to places and landscapes through their own experiences, establishing connections that do not necessarily correspond to the purposes for which those places were originally conceived. In this way, an everyday space can become a site of memory, absence, or evocation. A single image can hold multiple interpretations, emerging from the encounter between what is depicted, personal memory, and the experience of the viewer.
